"Villages, growing with agrotourism as an alternative" - Sokol Duma: To increase investments in the Alps without affecting the protected areas
The package of mountains is generating interest, especially among individuals who see this initiative as a new opportunity for development. This interest culminated in a public hearing, organized in cooperation with the Institution for Democracy and Mediation.
The main message of this event was that this draft law, which is of great importance for the development of rugged mountain areas, without harming the protected areas of the country.
On the other hand, the Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Sokol Duma, was also invited to this panel.
He spoke enthusiastically about the mountains package, stressing that this project offers excellent opportunities for Albanian immigrants living in the diaspora, giving them the opportunity to invest in the lands of their ancestors.
The Mountains package comes as an initiative by the government to turn the villages vacated by the emigrants left in the diaspora, into a place where agro-tourism can be developed, or other activities for these individuals who have abandoned the rural areas.
