The 2024 budget will be reviewed within the month - Malay: The fund for the spring bonus for retirees is determined
In April 2025, pensioners will receive another bonus from the government. In a press conference, the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, emphasized that this year's budget will be reviewed within this month and due to the good performance of the income, a fund will be allocated to cover the spring bonus.
"There will be a review of this year's budget, where with a normative act, we will determine the spring bonus for retirees."
Minister Malay also focused on the anti-information reform, stressing that so far it has produced the expected results.
"The campaign is divided into 3 phases. We are currently communicating with risk subjects. Businesses have reflected positively and after the third phase we will have concrete results."
Regarding the performance of the labor market in the third quarter of the year, the Minister emphasized that the government's objective was met and the average salary in the public sector was recorded at the level of 978 euros, thus making an appeal for the private sector to follow this trend.
