Vocational training, increasing youth involvement - AKPA: Over 13 thousand beneficiaries from vocational training in 2025

The National Employment and Skills Agency reports that 13,363 individuals benefited from Vocational Training programs across the country last year. This number represents an 11% increase compared to the same period in 2024, reflecting the growing interest in vocational training.
According to data published by AKPA, a significant portion of the beneficiaries are young people up to the age of 29, with 7,642 trainees, 22.7% more compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, 7,296 women and girls have attended vocational training programs, an increase of 18.9% compared to the previous year.
In the categories of vulnerable groups, 1,156 beneficiaries are members of the economic assistance scheme, who have been included in programs aimed at increasing skills and employment. In addition, 356 people from the Roma and Egyptian communities have participated in professional training, as well as 233 people with disabilities included in these programs, within the framework of policies for social inclusion and equality in the labor market.
AKPA emphasizes that the main objective of these programs remains quality professional training and the creation of equal opportunities for all, aiming at sustainable integration into the labor market, especially for young people, women and vulnerable groups, in accordance with the needs of the labor market for the coming years.
The programs include vocational training, support for self-employment, and economic empowerment measures, in cooperation with public institutions and other partners.
