Holidays increase hotel prices in Korça - The cost of accommodation reaches 33% more on New Year's Eve
As we slowly approach the end of the year holidays, more and more hotels, mainly those located in the colder areas of the country, are increasing their prices due to the high demand from tourists.
Usually, these periods are rich with visitors who want to spend their end-of-year holidays in specific destinations, and this has a direct impact on accommodation prices.
According to data from the "Booking" platform, the city of Korça, which is one of the most sought-after destinations to visit during the end-of-year holidays, has recorded a price increase of about 33%.
For example, a tourist who wants to stay in one of the hotels of this city, can pay an amount that varies from the cheapest to the most expensive hotels, where the price can reach up to 8000 ALL for one night.
Meanwhile, on the last two days of the month, hotels usually raise prices due to the large influx of visitors expected on New Year's Eve and Christmas.
This period has a high demand for accommodation, therefore the prices for one night's stay vary from 3500 ALL in the cheapest hotels, up to 12000 ALL for the most luxurious hotels.
