Eurobond of 650 million euros is expected to be 10-year - Interest period 11

Albania has begun the process of issuing a new Eurobond worth 650 million euros, a key move to finance current debt and support the economy.

In a London Stock Exchange announcement, JP Morgan invites all institutional investors to participate in the issuance of this Eurobond by the Albanian government.

This Eurobond is expected to be a 10-year, fixed-interest bond, but the interest rate has not yet been determined, and will be listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The funds raised will be used to repay previous debt and to provide liquidity for the government's needs. To ensure the best possible price and demand, the banks that have been engaged as stabilization managers are JP Morgan Securities PLC (Stabilization Coordinator), Deutsche Bank, IMI-Intesa Sanpaolo, Société Générale.

These banks will play an important role in managing the price of bonds in the market and maintaining their stability, avoiding large fluctuations.

In addition, these banks have the right to over-allocate up to 5% more bonds, a practice that helps improve their performance in the market.

The stabilization period is expected to last from February 11 to March 11, 2025, but may end earlier if markets require it.

The official announcement also clarifies that this Eurobond cannot be purchased by investors in the US and is intended only for large investors inside and outside the United Kingdom, with high financial experience.
