Agricultural exports/ Denaj: They have quadrupled in a decade!
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, stated today that Albanian agricultural exports have marked a significant increase, reaching 570 million euros in 2024, compared to only 150 million euros in 2013.
According to Minister Denaj, this growth is the result of a decade of consistent work, continued support for farmers, and policies geared towards increasing production and improving standards. She emphasized that the government's medium-term goal is to reach 1 billion euros in agricultural exports by 2030.
Improving agricultural infrastructure, promoting agritourism, subsidy schemes for farmers, as well as the certification and standardization of domestic products have contributed to increasing competitiveness in international markets.
"The transformation of the sector today is a reality," said Denaj, emphasizing the determination to continue with supportive policies for all working people.
Denaj linked this progress to the vision for an Albania that produces, exports and gets closer to the European Union every day, positioning agriculture as one of the main pillars of economic development and European integration.
