Agricultural exports, 21% increase in 2024 - Albanian products gain ground in foreign markets
The increase in exports of "Made in Albania" products throughout 2024 shows a clear picture of the increase in quality and empowerment of farmers in the country.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, announced that agricultural exports in 2024 have marked a 21% increase in quantity, qualitatively improving the products with which we compete in international markets.
Also, the steady growth of agricultural products reflects the work and effort of Albanian farmers for brand recognition in international markets.
The favorable climate and the opportunity to cover regional markets with untapped potential make Albania a country with promising potential in several sectors, especially in agriculture.
Meanwhile, in total exports, those that lead and have the highest demand from foreign consumers are fresh Albanian fruits and vegetables.
The government's objective is to reach $1 billion in exports by 2030 through support policies for farmers in terms of production, quality, and certification.
