Customs blocks goods suspected of intellectual property infringement
The Anti-Smuggling Directorate and the Monitoring Directorate announce that in intensive cooperation and coordination with the customs branches in Kakavija and Durrës, they have blocked 5,340 pairs of sneakers that infringe on intellectual property for brands.
According to the announcement, the goods belong to the brands "Christian Dior" and "New Balance" and the blocking was carried out on suspicion of infringement of intellectual property rights.
The blocking of the goods was carried out within the framework of the General Directorate of Customs' commitment to guaranteeing equality in free trade and law enforcement, and customs structures are continuing further verifications of the cases.
The General Directorate of Customs informs that it remains fully committed to preventing any attempt at abuse or violation of the law.
