Albanians are traveling more and more. Instat has published data showing that last year the number of trips for personal or business purposes inside or outside Albania was 4 million 399 thousand 859.
According to Instat, this indicator is 17.4% higher than in 2022. Trips for personal purposes make up 97.5% of total trips, while trips for business purposes make up 2.5% of them.
But what were the most favorite travel destinations in Albania?
In first place is undoubtedly the capital, Tirana. Then comes Vlora, followed by Korça and Durrësi.
If we compare the figures, it turns out that there is a significant increase in trips by minibus or bus, which indicated an increase in the activity of tourist agencies that organize tours around Albania.
As for destinations abroad, Greece leads, followed by Italy and other countries such as Spain or England.
