Bonus for pensioners will be distributed starting from the second week of December. The news was given by Prime Minister Rama. There are 100 million euros that will be distributed on the occasion of the year-end holidays. Pensioners who will benefit more will be those who have a benefit amount lower than 200 euros, for this category the year-end check will be 150 euros, while for those with a pension amount over 200 euros, the benefit will be be 100 euros.
From Bulqiza, where he participated in the presentation of the project for the Retro Theme Park "Division" together with the Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, the Prime Minister said that the possibility of granting an additional fund is being considered, which will give the possibility of a new bonus that will to be divided in the spring.
"This new level of our economy gives us the possibility that, in addition to these 100 million euros, we can issue another fund for pensioners, another bonus that was not there before because the opportunities did not allow us. Even with this bonus and its amount, the pensioners will be recognized immediately within a few days and with the money they will receive before the new year, they will receive the exact information about how much they will receive in the spring," said Rama.
There are about 511 thousand pensioners who will receive 150 euros as a bonus at the end of the year, while for the rest, the value of the bonus will be 100 euros. Withdrawal of money will be possible at any post office or at second-level banks, according to a calendar of dates to be determined by the Social Security Institute, which will be announced in the coming days.
