The works for the big tourist park in Bulqiza - Rama are starting: "Division" will be the weekend destination for the citizens of Tirana as well
A large tourist park will be built in Bulqiza, otherwise known as the "Division" Retro Theme Park, which will transform a once degraded military area into a new destination for foreign tourists as well as locals.
Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku were in Bulqiza today to open the construction site for the start of the works.
Prime Minister Edi Rama emphasized that with the construction of this park, Bulqiza will return to the weekend destination for the citizens of Tirana.
"It will be a reference for foreign visitors, but also for the Albanians themselves. This theme park will be very close to Tirana, 30-35 minutes and will undoubtedly be one of the weekend choices of Tirana citizens. There will be many opportunities for children to have fun and it will be an economic engine for Bulqiza, which has historically been a mining area. We have entered a new phase of the administration of the army's properties, so the Ministry of Defense is also creating a department for this, without giving up the ownership of the Ministry of Defense, so that these areas turn into assets for the development of the economy."
On the other hand, Balluku said that many recreational spaces, hotel and service units will be built in this park.
The "Division" will be a hospitality tourist destination, with a tourist market of local products, hotels and services, for those who want to stop by or stay longer to explore the nature of this area.
