Slovenian businesses ready to invest in Albania - Musabelliu: Within 5 years our economy will be different

The Albania-Slovenia Business and Economic Forum, a platform aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries, was held in Tirana. The forum brought together institutional representatives, business leaders and investors from Albania and Slovenia.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation, Enkelejd Musabelliu, invited Slovenian businesses to invest in Albania, as our country offers a business climate similar to that of the European Union and has endless opportunities.
"The Albanian economy is at an important moment. Our country is moving towards macroeconomic stability, with GDP growth higher than the European Union average. Inflation is lower than the European average. Unemployment is also at a historic low for us.
"The next 3 or 5 years, the Albanian economy will be very different. This is thanks to the important transformation that the integration process is bringing. This is an important signal for businesses to invest in Albania, as the climate is 100% in line with the European Union," said Musabelliu.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Albanian Investment Development Agency, Laura Saro, presented the opportunities offered by Albania, while emphasizing that every foreign investor can find what suits them.
"We are your partners in finding the right partners in Albania. We believe that businesses and owners are not just visitors, but our partners."
We have equal treatment, meaning the same requirements and procedures for both foreign investors and our entrepreneurs.
Our services are digitalized and you can try investing.
"We are here to help and guide you on the business opportunities and priorities that Albania has. I think there are many opportunities to turn into real projects," said Saro.
Representatives of Slovenian institutions and businesses emphasized cooperation and offered the support and experience gained from EU membership to be applied in Albania in several key sectors. Meanwhile, Artificial Intelligence remains a key element.
