Balluku: Family subscribers are paying February energy bills 10.5% cheaper
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, stated today through a video on social media that household subscribers are currently paying their electricity bills for February 10.5% cheaper.
According to Balluk, its beneficiaries are around 95% of family clients in Albania today.
"Our work and our performance are measured by many elements, two of the most important are the level of collections and the level of loss reduction. What was decided was to have two consumption categories. There will be only one price on the electricity bill. If you as subscribers consume below 700 kWh, you will have that consumption multiplied by 8.5 lekë, if you consume above 700 kWh, you will have that consumption multiplied by 9.5 lekë. Around 95% of family customers in Albania today consume below the 700 kWh category," says an electricity operator in the video published by the minister.
