330.5 million lek for the rehabilitation of roads in Lezha - The Municipality opens the tender. What are the segments included?
The Municipality of Lezha has announced the opening of the tender for the rehabilitation of urban roads. The estimated fund limit is 330 million and 563 thousand lekë. The investment aims to significantly improve the quality of life for residents and increase road safety.
According to the document in the Public Procurement Agency, the focus of this project is the rehabilitation of Shelbuem Street, one of the main axes of the city, which is currently in a poor infrastructural condition. According to the technical documentation included in the tender, it is found that this road presents a number of significant problems, including cracks in the asphalt layer, numerous potholes and damage to the existing road structure, which make traffic difficult and unsafe for vehicles and pedestrians.
Likewise, another segment that will be included in the intervention is the "Princat e Kuvendit" street, which is located in a residential area. This axis will also undergo the process of systematization and asphalting, to create better conditions for the movement of residents and to increase access to this area.
The rehabilitation project also foresees interventions on several other urban roads in the city of Lezha, which present similar infrastructure problems.
These are important axes within residential areas, where interventions are expected to improve the asphalt layer, the arrangement of sidewalks, which are located in residential areas. Among them, are: “Mbretëreshë Teuta”, “Mother Teresa”, “Ibrahim Kodra”, “Gjergj Araniti”, “Ullishte”, “Bec Petani”, “Qemal Ataturku”, “Besa”, “Pjetër Arbnori”, “Dardania”, “Principata e Arbri”.
This initiative for the rehabilitation of urban roads comes as part of the Municipality's plan for improving infrastructure.
