100 million euros per year for farmers - Support increases. European formula, 150 thousand beneficiaries

Farmers will have the opportunity to benefit from government funding worth 100 million euros per year.
The government's 4-year program states that, as far as the agricultural sector is concerned, direct support and investments of around €100 million/year will be provided according to CAP practices, conditionality for the environment, hygiene, traceability and animal welfare.
In other words, there will be a significant increase in funding, which in recent years has been at the level of 32 million euros per year, while experts have constantly called for an increase in funds.
These funds are expected to benefit 150,000 registered farmers nationwide.
The foundations on which the CAP, a common policy for all EU countries, is built are to support farmers and improve agricultural production by ensuring a sustainable supply of affordable food; to protect farmers so that they can make a reasonable living; to help combat climate change and for the sustainable management of natural resources; to preserve rural areas and the landscape throughout Albania and to keep the rural economy vibrant by promoting farm work, agro-processing industries and related sectors.
Albania currently has a major goal and plan to achieve an agricultural export of 1 billion Euros through support provided to the sector. Other goals include collection points and increasing the size of farms.
Currently, 3 financing instruments are open from which farmers, agro-processors and entrepreneurs in the field of agritourism can benefit. National Investment Scheme 2025, where farmers as a whole benefit from a 50% grant from the state budget and pay only 50% of the investment.
The Sovereign Guarantee Instrument, with a total fund of 30 million euros, provides for coverage of up to 70% of the loan principal, and the soft credit line, with a dedicated fund of 250 million euros, aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises in agriculture and agritourism.
While the National Agricultural Support Scheme was implemented at the beginning of the year and funds were disbursed to farmers, supporting agriculture, livestock, beekeeping, organic production, etc.
