The labor market continues to show high demand for employees, with the vast majority of vacancies remaining oriented towards professions that do not require higher education.

According to data from the National Employment and Skills Agency, a total of 1,350 job vacancies were announced during the month. Of these, 1,154 positions are for professions without higher education, while only 195 jobs require qualified employees.

The staff shortage in the service sector continues to be most pronounced. Over 300 vacancies have opened for professions such as waiters, bartenders, cooks, assistant cooks, cleaners and hotel receptionists.

Unlike previous years, when the demand for these professions was mainly concentrated on the coastline, this season there is an increase in the need for employees in the northern areas of the country, reflecting the expansion of tourist activity.

In addition to the service sector, demand remains high for construction workers, freight handlers, and drivers, professions that continue to face labor shortages.

On the other hand, jobs that require higher education include professions such as economists, financiers, doctors, information technology specialists, and engineers.

The data shows that, although the economy needs qualified specialists, the majority of demand in the labor market continues to rely on operational professions and the service sector, which remains among the most active employers in the country.
