Albania-Kosovo, cooperation agreement for employment and human capital development

The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, and the Minister of Labor, Family and Liberation War Values of the Republic of Kosovo, Andin Hoti, signed, in Tirana, the Cooperation Agreement between the two countries, marking an important step towards strengthening institutional cooperation in the field of employment and human capital development.
The agreement aims to create a joint cooperation framework to facilitate the employment of citizens in both countries, increase labor mobility, exchange information and best practices, and strengthen the capacities of institutions responsible for employment, training and vocational education.
In her speech, Minister Ibrahimaj praised the importance of the agreement as a concrete instrument that brings Albania and Kosovo closer together in labor market policies.
"This is an agreement that facilitates citizens on both sides of the Nation, opening up more opportunities for employment and professional development," the Minister declared.
Ibrahimaj noted that through this cooperation, our labor markets will be brought closer together, services for citizens will be improved, and businesses that need a qualified workforce will be supported.
For his part, Minister Andin Hoti emphasized that the agreement represents an important step in creating greater opportunities for the citizens of Albania and Kosovo to benefit from services and programs in the field of employment and professional training.
The ceremony took place in the presence of deputy ministers and representatives of implementing institutions of both countries.
Earlier, in the framework of the signing of the agreement, the delegations held a bilateral meeting.
