How much does everyday products cost in Albania? From transportation to food, here's how much money we spend every day

The cost of everyday products and services in Albania remains one of the main factors affecting the family budget. Every day, citizens face a series of expenses related to transportation, food, beverages or basic services, which in total constitute a significant portion of monthly income.
Among the most common expenses is urban transportation. A round trip on public transportation in the country costs 80 lekë, a price paid every day by thousands of citizens who travel for work, school, or other activities.
Another daily expense for many people is coffee consumption. A macchiato or coffee in bars costs around 80 lekë, making it one of the most consumed products during the day. The price of oil on the market reaches around 218 lekë, a factor that affects not only the budget of vehicle drivers, but also the prices of other products and services, the cost of oil has increased after the war in the Middle East.
Another important cost for citizens is communication. The monthly cost of a telephone reaches an average of around 1415 lekë, including the usual service packages used by consumers.
Meanwhile, for those who choose to eat out, prices are higher. A meal at a fast food restaurant (KFC) costs around 800 lekë, an expense that often becomes part of daily consumption, especially in urban areas.
Overall, this data shows a clear picture of the cost of some of the most commonly used products and services in daily life in Albania. Although prices may vary from city to city or business to business, they give a general idea of the expenses that citizens have to bear every day.
