Llogara Tunnel, traffic measures - Deputy Prime Minister Balluku inspects the Monitoring Center: Follow the rules!
All drivers of vehicles passing through the Llogara tunnel must respect road traffic rules, otherwise they will be penalized.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, inspected the Llogara Tunnel Monitoring and Operation Center, where the movement of all vehicles passing through this construction is monitored and coordinated 24/7 through cameras.
"It is very important that all drivers understand that they are being monitored when they pass through the Llogara tunnel. And last week there were violations of the traffic code. There is no overtaking in tunnels and the rules must be enforced. All those who have violated the speed limit or road safety rules should know that they will face the traffic police who will take the appropriate measures. If they have not passed you, it does not mean that you will not receive a fine or a penalty on your driving license."
Balluku appealed to drivers to be careful and respect traffic rules.
"The managers must be careful because we are aware of everything that happens inside the tunnel and we must be very careful since the Llogara tunnel is a work of art and the rules of the Albanian code must be strictly respected."
Until September 15, passage through the Llogara tunnel will be free of charge in view of the tourist season.
