How convincing are Albanians of electoral promises? - SCAN survey: More than

In the run-up to the 2025 parliamentary elections, the main parties have presented their economic programs with various promises to improve the country's economy. Many of the parties that have made statements have also mentioned figures on where they want to go.

Some of the promises are related to increasing the minimum wage, the average wage, or even the living wage and pensions. For example, if we analyze each one, we see that the Democratic Party (DP) promises an average monthly wage of 1,200 euros and a minimum wage of 500 euros.

The Socialist Party, on the other hand, aims to complete negotiations with the EU by 2027. The Together Movement focuses on increasing the minimum wage by 60,000 lek, the average pension by 32,000 lek, and improvements in the agriculture and social services sectors.

The Albania Initiative Coalition promises to depoliticize the administration, increase the education budget, double teachers' salaries, and abolish the profit tax, while the Opportunity Party proposes a long-term economic project with 50% less administrative expenses and taxes.

If we analyze these promises in detail, we can draw some conclusions regarding their feasibility, costs and potential impact. But what is the public opinion regarding these promises? SCAN Television has opened a survey on its official website regarding the feasibility of economic programs.

To the question "How convincing are the parties' economic programs for the May 11, 2025 elections?", about 56% of participants answered that they are unachievable promises. About 26% of them said that they have good ideas, but lack implementation details, and 18% said that they are detailed and feasible.
