Agricultural exports increase, 18% more in February - Denaj: Our products have

The positive trend of the export of “Made in Albania” fruits and vegetables to foreign markets continues. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, announced that agricultural exports during February marked an 18% increase in quantity and a 15% increase in value compared to a year earlier. Agricultural products “Made in Albania” are steadily increasing their presence in foreign markets.

The increase in exports of Albanian products shows a clear picture of the increase in quality and the empowerment of farmers in the country. Also, the sustainable growth of agricultural products reflects the work and effort of Albanian farmers for brand recognition in international markets, qualitatively improving the products with which we compete in international markets.

The favorable climate and the opportunity to cover regional markets with untapped potential make Albania a country with promising potential in several sectors, especially in agriculture.

Meanwhile, in total exports, those that lead and have the highest demand from foreign consumers are fresh Albanian fruits and vegetables.

The government's objective is to reach $1 billion in exports by 2030 through support policies for farmers in terms of production, quality, and certification.
