OSSH, investment in the energy network in Lezha - Aims to improve energy supply

The Regional Directorate of OSSH Shkodra has announced the opening of the competition for ring connections for feeders 18 and 19, at the 110/20/10 kV Lezhë substation.
According to the document, more specifically, it concerns the construction of a new connection between two main power lines, at the Lezha electrical substation, with an estimated fund of around 37 million and 304 thousand lek.
This investment aims to improve electricity supply and increase network security, enabling energy to be better distributed and avoiding interruptions in cases of defects or high loads.
According to the document at the Public Procurement Agency, all equipment to be used in this project will be of high quality in compliance with international standards. Furthermore, the equipment will be durable, able to withstand loads, and will function without problems even in different climatic conditions.
Special attention has also been paid to protective elements, which serve to prevent damage to the network. According to the document, these parts will be strong, resistant to environmental conditions and not wear out quickly. They will also react in a timely manner in case of problems, interrupting the flow of energy to avoid greater damage.
This intervention is expected to directly impact the quality of service for citizens and businesses in the area, as the new connection will create alternative options for energy distribution in the event of problems on one of the existing lines and thus reduce outages.
This investment is an important step towards improving the energy infrastructure and modernizing the electricity network in the north of the country, and will also increase the quality of service for citizens and businesses.
