Economic Diplomacy, Minister Ferit Hoxha meets with the Union of Greek

The potential for economic cooperation with Albania and Greece remains great and the opportunities are numerous. This is the assessment made by Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha, who had a conversation with the Union of Greek Businessmen. According to a post shared by the minister on his social networks, “The Albanian community in Greece continues to be a strong economic bridge between the two countries and an important factor in the further consolidation of a long-term strategic partnership.”

Below is the full post by Minister Ferit Hoxha:

"In #Delfi I had the pleasure of a substantive conversation with representatives of the #GreekBusinessmen'sUnion on the great potential that Albania offers today as an open market for investments, on the opportunities, but also the guarantees that an increasingly dynamic and friendly economy offers to foreign investors.

Overall relations, including economic and trade relations, between #Albania and #Greece continue to strengthen on a stable basis of cooperation and mutual benefit. Greece is now ranked as Albania's third largest trading partner and an increasingly important market for Albanian exports, as evidenced by the continued growth of trade exchanges during 2025 and the first months of 2026.

Greek investments are also on an upward trend, reflecting the expanding interest in the Albanian market, especially in key sectors of the economy and employment, where over 800 Greek companies operate today. However, the potential remains even greater and the opportunities are numerous, including in the perspective of #Albania2030, which requires an increased, practical and innovative commitment for more contacts and networking.

"The #AlbanianCommunity in Greece continues to be a strong economic bridge between the two countries and an important factor in the further consolidation of a long-term, mutually beneficial strategic partnership."
