The second edition of “Match-maker Albania” - the business forum organized by the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) - kicks off in Tirana

The second edition of "Match-maker Albania", the business forum organized by the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA), has started in Tirana.
In her speech, AIDA Director Laura Saro stated that there are four sectors where investment can be made in Albania. “The first is Future Estates. We are going beyond construction to create destinations, hospitality and urban development; an integrated ecosystem that combines Albania's natural beauty with next-generation innovation. From high-end tourism to free economic zones, from private developments to strategic public projects, projects have been identified and feasibility studies are ready. We are not just building properties, we are building wealth,” said Saro.
The second is "Power Next". According to Saros, Albania's ambition is to become a "green battery" for the region, with a strong renewable energy base and growing energy capacities. We offer opportunities across the country, now and in the future. In this area you will find public companies ready to engage, private projects ready to grow and international financial institutions ready to co-invest. So this is not just an energy market, it is a fully harmonized energy ecosystem.
The third sector is "Smart Agriculture". From ancient olive groves to high-tech greenhouses, we are transforming the agricultural industry into a modern, data-driven sector. "In this area you will find innovative startups and technology providers ready to scale traditional farms into smart markets. We are turning tradition into a competitive advantage," the head of AIDA underlined.
According to her, last but not least, the one that touches all sectors, is "Digital Horizons". "Here Albania's youthful energy meets global technology. We are building a digital ecosystem empowered by talent, supported by policies and open to innovation.
In all four of these pillars, the message today is the same: the foundations have been laid, the institutions and financial partners are engaged, the projects are ready. So, ladies and gentlemen, this is the moment to act. In Albania, we do not simply offer opportunities, we offer partnership. We combine the vision of the government with the reality of entrepreneurship and remain your partner long after the videos have stopped”, said, among other things, the director of AIDA, Laura Saro.
