Over 19 thousand online applications to register as job seekers - Applications on e-albania, up 40% compared to a year ago
The number of citizens who have registered as job seekers through the government portal e-Albania has increased significantly this year.
According to data published by the e-Albania portal, from January to October of this year, 19,721 online applications were registered, compared to 14,065 applications in the same period a year ago.
The "Registration as a Job Seeker" service, which is offered completely online through e-Albania, enables individuals to complete the entire process without having to physically appear at employment offices.
Online registration continues to be one of the most used services of the platform, facilitating the process for citizens seeking work, as well as providing them with faster access to important information on job vacancies and support programs, as well as the opportunity offered to transparently track the status of their application.
According to official data from Instat, in the second quarter of 2025, the official employment rate for the population aged 15-64 is 69.1%. Compared to the same quarter a year ago, this rate has increased by 0.5 percentage points.
Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate, for the population aged 15–64, is 76.2% in the second quarter of 2025. This indicator has increased by 0.6 percentage points compared to the second quarter of 2024.
