Over 1,600 new businesses registered in May - QKB: Digital services, in focus of enterprises
The National Business Center administered 14,897 online applications during the month of May, while the most used services were those related to commercial registration.
According to published data, 12,916 applications were made to the Commercial Registry, making up the vast majority of the total. Meanwhile, 1,137 applications were submitted to the Registry of Permits and Licenses, while another 844 applications went through the Registry of Beneficial Owners.
During the same period, 1,604 new businesses were registered. The National Business Center also issued 101 new licenses and 17 permits for the exercise of various economic activities.
In addition to registration and licensing procedures, the CBK has provided assistance to citizens and business representatives during the application process.
In May, 1,232 calls were assisted, while 744 requests were handled through direct communication with operators in chat.
Also, 1,347 requests were handled through the support ticket system and email.
In total, the number of assistance cases has reached 3,323, indicating the ongoing need of businesses for guidance in the use of online services.
