"Property legalization, the 2028 deadline is achievable" - Rama: Help from technology. Russia: Only 2.9% of requests, reviewed
The deadlines for completing the processes related to the legalization of properties are within reach, according to Prime Minister Edi Rama.
During the round table "Guarantee of the right to property and the fight against corruption in the property sector", of the Special Parliamentary Committee for Good Governance, Rule of Law and Anticorruption, Rama said that technology is helping the process.
However, the analytical document presented during the round table highlights a number of problems related to the examination of requests for legalization, compensation of owners or the implementation of decisions of the Strasbourg Court, related to property.
During the discussions, the drafting of by-laws of the law "On cadastre" and "On the completion of transitional processes" was requested.
Also, the approval of the VKM was requested, which regulates the relations between the 2 institutions that manage property rights, which are the State Cadastre Agency and the Property Handling Agency.
