Over 20 thousand workplaces inspected - 415 advisory inspections in businesses
Over 20,000 workplaces were inspected by the State Labor Inspectorate during the month of June, as part of verifications for compliance with labor legislation and safety standards.
According to official data, 1,019 entities were inspected this month, while the controls included 20,963 workplaces across the country.
In addition to controls, the Inspectorate has also conducted 415 advisory inspections, with the aim of guiding businesses in implementing legal obligations towards employees, including employment contracts, schedules, salaries and safety conditions.
From the verifications carried out, 951 administrative measures were imposed on entities where violations were found. The figure shows that problems in labor relations and compliance with legal standards continue to remain present in a significant portion of businesses.
During June, 109 complaints submitted by citizens and employees were also handled. Their handling constitutes another part of the institution's work.
The Inspectorate aims to increase market formalization, protect employees, and strengthen the accountability of employers during the exercise of their activities through inspections, counseling, and complaint follow-up.
