Contributions ensured pensioners' bonus - 10-month/ Budget revenues increase by 580 million euros
The state budget collected 589 billion ALL for the period January-October 2024, with an increase of about 58 billion ALL or 580 million euros more than the same period a year ago.
The tax revenues collected by the tax administration (revenues from net VAT in the country, profit tax, personal income tax, national taxes), for the 10th month of 2024, amounted to 189 billion ALL, 21 billion ALL more than 10 months of last year. They also exceeded the plan by ALL 1.6 billion.
The best performance in this regard was provided by the income from special funds, social and health insurance, which were realized in the amount of 133.4 billion ALL, 13.4 billion ALL or 11.2% more than the 10-month 2023, as well as 101% realization of the plan for the 10th month of 2024. This has also come about due to the anti-informality campaign as it belongs underdeclaration of wages, where it turned out that in the first phase over 9 thousand businesses reacted with an increase in declarations.
Revenues from collected VAT (net) amounted to ALL 49 billion, ALL 8.7 billion or 21.7% more than the 10-month 2023, as well as ALL 1 billion or 2.1% more than the plan, once again confirming the growth of consumption throughout this year.
The income collected from the profit tax amounted to ALL 47 billion. The personal income tax was collected in the amount of 54.9 billion ALL, 6.5 billion ALL more than the 10th month of 2023, as 0.8% over the planned. 6.7 billion ALL were also collected from national taxes.
The customs revenues collected by the customs administration amounted to 190.4 billion ALL, 11.4 billion ALL or 6.4% more than the 10th month of 2023. Revenues from VAT on imports for the 10th month are 128 billion ALL, 7.2 billion ALL or 6 % more than the same period of the previous year. Revenues from excise duty amounted to 52.5 billion ALL, marking an increase of about 4.4 billion ALL. Revenues from export mining rents were realized in the amount of ALL 2.4 billion and from customs taxes were collected in the amount of ALL 7.4 billion.
General public expenditures, for the 10-month period of 2024, reached about 517 billion ALL with a realization of 91.7 percent of the plan for the period, while compared to the previous year, this item was 7.1 percent higher.
