The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the new headquarters of the company "Lutech" in Albania, in the presence of company representatives, the Ambassador of Italy to Albania and other guests.
During her speech, Minister Ibrahimaj praised Lutech's investment as concrete evidence of the transformation that the Albanian economy is undergoing and of the growing confidence that international companies are showing in the country's potential.
"Lutech's decision to expand its presence in Albania and invest in strategic areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing and Digital Transformation is a strong vote of confidence in Albanian talent and the prospects of our economy," said Ibrahimaj.
The Minister emphasized that Albania is increasingly attracting investments with high added value, based on human capital, professional skills and the potential of young Albanians.
She noted that over 250 Albanian professionals are now part of Lutech's Global Competence Center in Tirana, contributing to complex and innovative projects for European and global markets.
"Human capital development remains one of our top priorities. Investments in vocational education, digital skills and the connection between universities and the labor market are essential to building a competitive and innovation-oriented economy," the minister said.
Praising the company's focus on Artificial Intelligence and advanced technologies, Ibrahimaj emphasized that Albania aims to be an active participant in the global digital transformation and that such partnerships accelerate this process.
The Minister also welcomed the inclusion of "Lutech" in the Durana Tech Park ecosystem, describing it as an important step towards creating a regional center of innovation, research and technology.
Ibrahimaj underlined that this investment represents a new chapter in economic relations between Albania and Italy, increasingly based on technology, innovation and the digital economy.
"Albania remains open to investments that bring knowledge, technology, qualified employment and long-term value. Our ambition is to build a modern, innovative and fully integrated economy in the European economic space", concluded Minister Ibrahimaj.
Marco Alberti, Ambassador of Italy to Albania, stated that “the task of an embassy is to promote the best of its country abroad, to create value. This is what we are doing. The opening of Lutech's new headquarters in Tirana is a tangible sign of the new strategic partnership between Italy and Albania. A fast-growing company, in a key sector for the country's development”.
Giuseppe Di Franco, CEO of Lutech Group, said in his speech that "the opening of the Tirana headquarters represents a further step in building Lutech as a European actor in the field of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence. Growing does not only mean expanding the international presence, but above all connecting talents and competencies to create value for our clients. With the Global Competence Center we aim to strengthen a model that combines proximity to markets and the capacity to provide services on a global scale".

The choice of Albania confirms Lutech's strategy to invest in territories with rapid technological development, to value local talents and to contribute to building innovative ecosystems.
