"Everything for the success of Albanian entrepreneurs" - Berisha: We will ease the fiscal burden to the maximum possible extent
The Democratic Party will do everything for the success of Albanian entrepreneurs by easing the fiscal burden as much as possible and protecting exports. During a visit to a tailor-made business in Durrës, the leader of this political force, Sali Berisha, spoke about some of the measures to protect the exporting business against exchange rate fluctuations.
The government will compensate every penny of the euro exchange rate for all exporters, which makes them work in calmer, safer conditions. Having a 35 percent drop in the euro, as it is, is almost devastating since these are enterprises that deal with the euro and the exchange is done with the euro. In this context, a special board will be established to monitor exchange rate fluctuations and compensate each entrepreneur. The Albanian economy needs production, production, production.
According to Berisha, employees with low salaries of 500 euros will have, together with pensioners, a consumer card, through which VAT can be collected from the state on all basic products purchased against the coupons that are submitted. The Democratic leader added that this value goes to 450 euros per year.
So we want to radically change the situation, the livelihood, the well-being of citizens. We will set the minimum wage at 500 euros, but we, in dialogue and cooperation with entrepreneurs, will do everything so that this does not harm businesses. Because driving businesses towards bankruptcy is foolish. We will have a dialogue with entrepreneurs on what we should compensate them for to have a minimum wage of 500 euros.
On the other hand, Berisha said that there will be bonuses for children as an additional salary. According to him, the salary supplement for the first child from the government will be 70 euros, for the second 60 euros, for the third child, from birth to the age of 23, the government will take over every expense.
