"Per capita income has tripled" - Rama: In 2030 it will reach 15 thousand euros
During a conversation with citizens on social platforms, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that since 2013, per capita income in Albania has more than tripled. He emphasized that by 2030 it will reach 15 thousand euros.
If we say that we have tripled the income per capita and from the 3324 euros that were when we took office, it is 10,042 euros, this is something that those who listen to us and who listen to listen and not simply listen and only to curse and then also to fight with the facts, know that it is so because they have this in their reality and when we say that then in Albania 2030 the income per capita will reach 15,000 euros.
Prime Minister Rama also focused on the increase in the average salary in the public sector. According to him, referring to INSTAT, in 2013 the average salary was 372 euros, while in 2024 it reached 1000 euros and will reach 1200 euros in Albania 2030.
The minimum, and the best thing is that we have said this minimum wage on time, we did not say it today because no one thought about it, we said on time that in 2026, after the elections, we will determine it because before the elections we could not do it because it is prohibited by the electoral law, but after the elections we will determine that it will be 500 euros and we have even said the mechanism how it will be 500 euros; not asking companies for 19 months to pay any other obligation except giving their employees 100 euros plus per month.
The head of the executive also stated that within the fourth mandate, the living wage will be 200 euros.
