Celibashi: So far 185,679 envelopes from the diaspora, expected to reach 200 thousand
The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, has revealed some data regarding the diaspora voting process.
He announced in a statement to the media that so far 185,679 envelopes have been submitted to the CEC, but the number is expected to reach 200,000.
In addition, 2,500 envelopes have been considered irregular and will need to be reviewed.
"185,679 envelopes arrived at the CEC - in fact, this number is slightly higher.
2,500 envelopes were administered in the special box; when they arrived at the CEC, they were considered irregular from a formal point of view, but will be subject to evaluation by the commissions.
Today is the last day for envelope deliveries. We have agreed with DHL that the arrival should be no later than 17:00, so that all of them receive the entry stamp before 19:00.
