Authority for traceability of medical and industrial cannabis is appointed!
The Council of Ministers has approved the decision to designate the authorized authority that will carry out the process of marking and traceability of the cannabis plant and its by-products intended for medical and industrial purposes.
According to the decision, this function is entrusted to the company "ALBTrace Co", sh.a.
The decision states that the authorized authority for the implementation of marking and traceability, according to Law No. 61/2023, "On the control of the cultivation and processing of the cannabis plant and the production of its by-products for medical and industrial purposes", is the company "ALBTrace Co", sh.a.
The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the National Cannabis Control Agency and the company "ALBTrace Co", jsc, are responsible for the implementation of this decision.
