AKSK appeals to citizens: False announcement in the name of TIA, do not fall prey to fraud!
The National Cyber Security Authority has today called on citizens to be wary of fraudulent posts that use the names of institutions to lure citizens to dangerous websites.
In a social media announcement, AKSK announced that a fake post on social media has distributed an announcement on behalf of Tirana Airport for "sale of leftover suitcases", including a suspicious link, with the aim of collecting personal and banking data.
AKSK emphasizes that " these are common fraudulent practices, where the names of public or well-known institutions are used to create credibility and lead citizens to dangerous websites."
"Do not click on suspicious links and never share your personal or banking information without verifying the source," the announcement says.
