AIDA with British businesses at the second meeting of "Investor Support Days: Space for investment growth!

As part of the "Investor Support Days 2025" initiative, AIDA, in collaboration with the British Chamber of Commerce in Albania (BCCA), organized the "UK Investor Day", a meeting dedicated to strengthening dialogue with British businesses operating in Albania.
Representatives of companies with British capital, state institutions and international partners participated in the event.
The discussions focused on the opportunities for expanding economic cooperation between Albania and the United Kingdom, as well as identifying the challenges faced by British investors in the domestic market. Company representatives shared their experiences on the investment environment in Albania, appreciating the high potential that the country offers, but also emphasizing the need to improve some aspects related to administrative procedures and clarify the legal framework.
AIDA Executive Director, Ms. Laura Saro, emphasized that the volume of trade between Albania and the United Kingdom is increasing significantly, stimulating interest in new investments, especially in renewable energy, health and transport.
In his speech, Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation, Mr. Enkelejd Musabelliu, emphasized that the gradual alignment of Albanian legislation with that of the European Union remains a key element for strengthening the confidence of foreign investors.
Those present, especially Ms. Julia Sutherland, Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom, expressed their appreciation for this AIDA initiative, conveying their gratitude and full support for initiatives aimed at strengthening the investment climate in Albania.
This meeting confirms the shared will to strengthen trade and investment relations between Albania and the United Kingdom.
