AAPSK publishes updated catalog of seized and confiscated assets

The Agency for the Administration of Sequestrated and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK) has published the updated catalog of seized and confiscated assets, continuing the process of transparency and public information on assets administered by the state. This publication comes just a few days after AAPSK also published the updated catalogs of other seized and confiscated assets, providing a more complete overview of the portfolio of assets under administration.
The asset catalog includes a wide range of vehicles and other assets, divided by legal status – seized assets and confiscated assets – for each of which detailed data is presented on the legal basis for the seizure or confiscation, the technical description, the year of manufacture, and the approximate value of the asset. The document includes both everyday vehicles and assets with a higher market value, reflecting the diversity of assets managed by the agency.
The publication of this catalog aims to increase transparency and public access to information, enabling any interested party to become familiar with the movable assets under the administration of the AAPSK. At the same time, this step creates the basis for further processes of administration, use or alienation of these assets, in accordance with the legislation in force and relevant court decisions.
Following the publication of updated real estate catalogues, the asset catalogue completes the mosaic of information on seized and confiscated assets in Albania. This integrated approach by the AAPSK is seen as an important element in strengthening public trust, increasing institutional accountability and promoting the most efficient administration of assets that have passed into state administration.
