The summit brings together leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans, reaffirming the strategic partnership and shared commitment to the progress of the region's European integration process. The meeting takes place six months after the last summit held in Brussels and will be chaired by the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and hosted by the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović. The summit will also be attended by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
