Labor market, inclusive - AKPA: 525 people with disabilities, employed

Disability is not an obstacle to integration into the labor market. The National Employment and Skills Agency reports that during 2024, 525 people with disabilities were trained and employed throughout the country.

Also, by providing vocational training to these individuals with special needs, the objective of equality and inclusion in work is fulfilled. Their inclusion in employment programs creates for them an independent lifestyle, but above all a full integration into social and societal life.

Meanwhile, the government's social policies aim to focus on financial support for individuals with disabilities, integrated social and rehabilitation services, and vocational training and employment training programs.

The government's objective remains committed to empowering every person and building a more just society, where everyone has the opportunity to develop their potential.

Any individual can visit the employment portal to familiarize themselves with job vacancies and anyone can find the best possible or most suitable job through the puna.gov.al portal, created to support the Albanian labor market.

Employers can also log into this portal and publish job vacancies, as well as connect with job seekers.
