“Lower taxes and better cost of living” - Italian investor in Albania: This country has many benefits for investing
The lure of foreigners to invest in Albania is a trend that continues to grow month after month. One such example is the case of Davide Falso, an Italian who has invested in Albania, listing the reasons for his choice.
"I came to Tirana 3 years ago. I have a company, I actually moved it from Italy to Albania, like 90% of other cases from Italy or anywhere in the world. The main reasons are lower taxation and the lower cost of living here."
Davide also gave his opinion regarding the promises made by political forces during the campaign for the May 11 elections, where tax cuts for businesses were discussed.
"The benefits are numerous, not only for me, but also for the employees – in many aspects. For me it is quite good, because like all other entrepreneurs, we are always looking for the best solutions. If taxation is reduced compared to the current one, we will have a better situation for our employees."
According to data from the Bank of Albania, foreign direct investments reached 1.6 billion euros in 2024, increasing by 5.6% compared to 2023.
