Owners receive financial compensation - Minister of Justice: For over 13 thousand families, the money is transferred to bank accounts
Over 13,000 families will receive financial compensation for their properties from the Property Treatment Agency. In a video message, the Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari, stated that a list of 3,527 entities has been approved, which will be finally compensated by the Property Treatment Agency for the remaining 30%.
With a fund of about 1.4 billion lek, over 13 thousand families benefit directly from the budget allocated by the Albanian government. This is not simply and only a financial act nor just the fulfillment of our functional duty. But it is something more, it is an act of justice. It is respect for property, for the law and for the citizen.
With this payment that they will receive from today and in the coming days, the compensation for these families according to the list published on the official ATP website is considered fully completed and we are thus closing an old chapter.
Lamallari emphasized that he has asked the Property Treatment Agency to proceed with this process as quickly as possible, with transparency and in strict respect for the law, thus fulfilling its obligation towards other owners.
