The most important infrastructure projects for 2025 - Deputy Prime Minister Balluku, in the parliamentary committee for Economy and Finance
The Parliamentary Committee for Economy and Finance is holding a hearing for the review of the budget and investments foreseen by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy for the year 2025. The Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, among other things, stated:
"The total budget of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy for 2025 amounts to 74 billion ALL, of which 6.7 billion ALL are current expenditures and 67.38 billion ALL are capital expenditures. Of the capital expenditures, 53.56 billion ALL or 79.5% of the total are domestic financing and 13.82 billion or 20.5% are foreign financing.
Corridor VIII and the blue corridor are the 2 main infrastructural works, which contribute not only to the economic development of the country, but also to the region.
Road infrastructure is a priority in the medium term. For the year 2025, the budget for this transport is 33.48 billion ALL, 4.1 billion ALL or 14% more than 2024. 29.82 billion ALL are capital expenditures. 88% of capital expenditures are internal financing, while 12% is foreign financing".
