The Socialist Party dominates in 10 districts of the country - the PD-ASHM leads in Shkodra and Kukës. Lezha, more volatile

The Socialist Party dominates in 10 districts of the country - the PD-ASHM leads

As of 11:30 a.m., votes have been counted in 1,865 polling centers. Meanwhile, the vote counting process continues in 3,360 other polling centers.

Currently, the Socialist Party of Albania is in the lead with 249,994 votes, followed by the Democratic Party – Alliance for a Greater Albania (DP-ASHM) Coalition with 165,883 votes. According to data received from the Central Election Commission at 11:30, the third-placed political force is the Social Democratic Party with 19,578 votes.

On the other hand, the Albania Initiative Coalition has collected 16,140 votes, while the Opportunity Party has collected around 12,386. As of 11:30, the other parties have received less than 10,000 votes.

Specifically, the Together Movement received 5,990 votes and the Euro-Atlantic Coalition Party received around 5,447 votes. In other words, the Socialist Party has received 52.31% of the votes nationwide so far and the Democratic Party – Alliance for a Greater Albania (DP-ASHM) Coalition has received 34.51% of the votes.

In total, the valid votes counted so far are 477,830.

The Socialist Party dominates in 10 regions of the country, in Fier, Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, Vlorë, Korçë, Gjirokastër, Lezë, Dibër and Berat. While the Democratic Party in coalition, leads in its historical bastion, in the Kukës Region.

In this district, the DP-ASHM received 51.85% of the votes, while the Socialist Party only 31.79%. Also, the Democratic Party leads in the Shkodra District with 40.27% of the votes and the Socialists with only 35.52% of the votes.

Also, in the Lezha Region, although the Socialist Party is in the lead, the difference in votes with the Democratic Party is very small.
