"Fiscal Peace", first phase closes/ 62 applications, 19 agreements concluded
The first phase of the "Fiscal Peace" is closed. The General Directorate of Taxes announces that the first application period was successfully closed, without any case of money laundering being identified. According to the GDT, during this period 62 applications were registered and 19 agreements concluded.
"Fiscal Peace", remains an opportunity for voluntary business consolidation, eliminating on-site tax controls and offering a stimulating tax rate of 5%. Taxes inform that applications will be reopened in the periods 1–15 April 2027 and 1–15 April 2028.
The GDT invites entities to take advantage of this formalization opportunity in the function of a fair and transparent market, aiming to protect consumers, increase fair competition, and integrate with EU standards.
