The refund of overpaid tax for over 3 thousand individuals filing DIVA 2025 tax returns begins!
The Tax Administration has initiated the process of refunding overpaid tax for individuals who have completed the Annual Individual Income Tax Declaration (DIVA 2025) and have been assessed as risk-free entities.
According to official data, there are 3091 beneficiary individuals, while the total amount reimbursed amounts to 52,823,000 lek.
This development constitutes an innovation in fiscal practice in the country, as for the first time, through the DIVA 2025 declaration, concrete opportunities are created for citizens to benefit from the accurate declaration of their income.
"The refund process aims to increase individuals' trust in the tax administration, promote the formalization of the economy and strengthen financial transparency, making the administration more efficient and closer to citizens," the Tax Administration announced.
