Apple production using intelligent technology and creating independence from climatic conditions". In Qatrom, Korça, an "apple knowledge and agrotourism farm" is being built, which will serve as a multifunctional space for agriculture, education, tourism and the local economy, as Prime Minister Edi Rama closely saw the investment that extends over an area of 37 hectares.
Earlier, Rama visited the fireplace manufacturing factory in Korca, an investment with modern technology where over 100 ecological fireplace models are produced, mainly destined for export to about 30 countries around the world. The Prime Minister praised the development of this enterprise and presented new support opportunities for manufacturing businesses.
"This is a medium-sized enterprise in fact. We have a new program with second-tier banks and the Bank of Albania, which offers companies loans with lower interest rates and guarantees of up to 2 million euros, so you can use it," Rama said.
This venture is considered an example of the development of the Albanian manufacturing industry, which through innovation, exports and youth employment is strengthening the presence of "Made in Albania" products in international markets.
