0% interest loan for housing – MEKI: Applications open for 530 public administration employees!
The Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation announced today the opening of applications for 0% interest loans for the purchase of a home for 530 public administration employees.
According to MEKI, employees will benefit from financing according to the reference price and area according to the family certificate.
According to the announcement, the program includes 12 institutions and the criteria that employees must meet are as follows:
· They must be employed in public administration.
· Not having a home in ownership or in the process of legalization, or having a home below housing standards.
· Not own real estate or movable property exceeding half the value of the apartment to be purchased with a soft loan and not be beneficiaries of other social housing programs.
· The Ministry of Interior, Education and Sports will each have 90 quotas. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection will have 80 quotas.
· The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Defense, Economy, Culture and Innovation, Infrastructure and Energy, Justice, Europe and Foreign Affairs, Finance, Tourism and Environment, and the Prime Minister's Office each have 30 quotas.
This is the second year that the government has supported administration employees with zero-interest housing loans.
