Snow and sub-zero temperatures/ Difficulties on some roads, ARA and police on the ground

Snowfall and low temperatures have made it difficult for vehicles to circulate on several road axes in the country, especially in the northeast and southeast, where there has also been the presence of ice.
In mountainous areas, during the night and morning hours, temperatures have dropped below zero, creating frost on the roads. The snow that fell in some segments has brought difficulties for drivers.
The situation is more problematic on the mountainous axes of the northeast and in the southeast areas, where drivers must move with increased caution. The relevant authorities, the Albanian Road Traffic Safety Administration and the Traffic Police, appeal for increased caution, while it is advised to use winter tires and chains, to maintain a safe distance and to avoid unnecessary movements. All structures are engaged in the field to ensure smooth movements in each segment.
