The Transparency Board publishes new fuel prices: Oil up to 190 lek/liter

The Transparency Board has approved the new fuel sales prices in the domestic market, which entered into force this Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.
According to the decision taken at the next meeting, the maximum retail price for SSH EN 590 standard diesel has been set at 190 lek per liter, while the maximum wholesale price is set at 178 lek per liter.
For gasoline, the maximum retail price is set at 173 lek per liter, while the wholesale price is set at 161 lek per liter.
The prices set by the Board have come into effect immediately and will remain valid until the next meeting, where the latest market developments and possible price changes will be reflected.
The Transparency Board has reminded operators trading in petroleum by-products that the implementation of this decision is mandatory. The authorities warn that in case of violations, administrative measures will be taken, up to and including the suspension of the activities of the responsible entities.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, emphasizes that it remains committed to protecting consumer interests and ensuring fair competition in the fuel market.
