“aDigital Perspective”, an intercultural exhibition - Coming to “Gocat”, by the Mane Foundation and the Italian Embassy
The intercultural exhibition "aDigital Perspective" opens at the "Gocat" gallery, as the fruit of the collaboration between the Mane Foundation and the Italian Embassy in Tirana.
This exhibition, which comes as a project conceived by the Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana, Belgrade and Bucharest, brings to art lovers the analog works of 10 young artists, Italian and Balkan, who address the impact of digitalization on art.

"The Italian Institute, with the proposal of this very interesting exhibition, brings us a piece not only from Italy, but also from the Balkans. This is a very dynamic, youthful, fresh exhibition, the works themselves are not placed in the classical form, it is about contemporary art, they are relatively young artists who have come together with a mission to challenge the digital, without using the medium but by putting it into the function of research."
According to the curators, the challenge was for artists to explore the digital world through a traditional medium.
"We think that the exhibition we have brought within the gallery space is innovative for the discussion of digital art, as it does not talk about digital works, but about analog works that make you reflect on digitalization."
"aDigital Persepctive" will stay in Tirana until March 31, to continue its tour in cities such as Belgrade, Bucharest and Pristina.
Gocat is a gift from the Mane Foundation to the artistic community, where artists can promote their work free of charge and art lovers can enjoy the language of contemporary art for free.
